GeneCapture Inc., a Huntsville, Alabama company, has developed a portable rapid diagnostic platform for the identification and antimicrobial susceptibility of infection-causing pathogens. The company’s mission is to bring infection detection out of the lab and directly to the patient at the point of care, even in austere environments. GeneCapture’s proprietary technology will transform the identification and treatment of infectious diseases – either on the battlefield, at the border, in rural communities, or hospital settings.
